1st-7th WEEK STUDY
A. Prepare meeting room ahead of time to view (if you are able to review the 11 minute clip at the start). Have sufficient notepads and pencils on hand for scribes.
B. Gathering, welcome attendees, roll-call, format introduction, review, and view 11 minute portion of the movie. (20 min)
C. Break-up group into 7 person (or less) discussion groups. Number small groups 1 through 7. Designate areas for each group. Appoint a writer and moderator for each group. Give writer a notebook and pencil.

D. Once in small groups, everyone introduces themselves and shares the family dynamic of how they grew up. (Who you were raised by, If you had both parents in your life, were you adopted, how many brothers and sisters, etc.) (5 min)
E. The scribe records small group thoughts. The moderator ensures everyone gets through all of the questions in a timely manner and that each attendee gets to participate.
F. Discuss reflections. Allow 4-5 minutes for each numbered question. The facilitator will signal small group leaders as needed to advance to the next question.
G. Return to large group. Small group leaders will go through pertinent questions and scribes will share discoveries with to the larger group.
H. The moderator of small group 1 will summarize their thoughts on question 1. The moderator of small group 2 will summarize their
thoughts on question 2 and so forth until all 7 questions are covered. (7-10 minutes)
I. Facilitator closes study session with summarization and prayer. Attendees fill out questions or journal during 5 minutes of quiet time before leaving.
